It's the Seventh Annual Good Cookies Valentine's Event! Food bloggers have been good cookies for several years showing their support for Cookies for Kid's Cancer and we are going to continue that! We changed our name slightly because we are hoping that food content creators to join us as well!
Did you guys know that you have helped raise over $110,000 for C4KC in our fundraising efforts? That's so amazing! I'm so proud of this and it's because of this collaboration that we can be confident in the fact that we have helped so many children and so many families.
As always, our goals are to raise awareness of childhood cancers, the need for funding for pediatric cancer research and of course raise some much-needed funds.
Over eleven years ago, I was introduced to Cookies for Kids' Cancer and these heartbreaking statistics, I knew it was important for me to get involved. And that's why I have been continued to be involved.
Here are some facts about pediatric cancer that you may not know…
- Cancer is the #1 cause of death of children by disease in the U.S.
- Less than 4% of the National Cancer Institute's budget goes to all childhood cancer research combined
- In the next 2 minutes somewhere in the world, a family will be told, “Your child has cancer.” – this is just heartbreaking
- Childhood cancer is not a singular disease. 2/3 of childhood cancer survivors suffer from long-term side effects including but not limited to secondary cancers, heart disease, and kidney disease.

Here's How it Works:
- Donate at least $25 and then sign up (at the bottom of this page) to participate. There are prizes if you donate more. (See below for more information!)
- Post an original or adapted (with credit of course) Valentine's Day inspired recipe new to your blog on Monday, February 13th and we'll all link up to each other.
- Ask your readers and followers to donate to our Cookies for Kids' Cancer fundraising page. (You can tell them about the matching if you'd like.)
- Pat yourself on the back for raising awareness and helping to raise much needed funds!
Who can participate:
- Active food bloggers
- Active food content creators
- Active just means you write about food in some capacity and your blog is at least 2 months old and you are actively posting. If you're a content creator, you're not required to have a blog but we ask that you sign up only if you who have been creating content for at least 2 months on at least one social channel.
